Arizona Snowbowl Guests Share Why They Buy Season Passes as $100 Discount Deadline Approaches June 26

FLAGSTAFF, ARIZONA – Arizona Snowbowl is highlighting why so many of its guests keep coming back to buy season passes year after year, just as the next pricing deadline for the 2026/27 Power Pass approaches on June 26.

According to the resort, every skier and rider has their own reason for locking in a pass each season. For some, it comes down to spending more time on the mountain with family. For others, it’s about skiing more frequently, saving money over the course of a season, or simply making time in the mountains a bigger part of their everyday lives.

Guests Highlight Affordability and Shared Family Time

Snowbowl shared several guest reviews that capture what keeps people purchasing passes season after season. One guest said they would recommend the pass without hesitation, noting they had even convinced their brother to buy one as well. Another guest pointed to the affordability and overall benefits packed into the season pass, while a third said their family simply wouldn’t be able to ski without the resort’s pricing.

Those reviews point to a consistent theme among Snowbowl’s pass holders, the value of sharing the mountain with friends and family, finding an affordable way to ski more often, and getting added value throughout the winter season.

To make that accessible across age groups, Snowbowl offers discounted pass options for guests ages 13 to 18, 19 to 24, 25 to 29, and 30 to 36, along with a free Power Kids Pass for children 12 and younger, giving nearly every skier or rider a pass option built around their stage of life.

El Niño Pattern Could Bring a Big Winter Ahead

Beyond affordability, anticipation for the upcoming winter season is also driving early pass purchases. Early long-range forecasts are pointing toward the possible development of a strong El Niño pattern for winter 2026/27. While seasonal forecasts are never guaranteed, Snowbowl noted that the resort’s last major El Niño winter delivered an impressive 399 inches of snowfall.

If the upcoming winter lives up to that kind of forecast, guests who lock in their passes now will already be set to take advantage of the storms once they arrive.

Pass Prices Rise After June 26 Deadline

Guests looking to save have a limited window to act. Anyone who purchases a 2026/27 season pass before midnight on Friday, June 26 can save up to $100 on select pass products before the next scheduled price increase takes effect.
